BZK Alco products win gold medals in Monde Selection 2023 competition
Adam Mickiewicz Premium Vodka and Clear Vodka Wataha received Gold Medals in the 62nd edition of the international Monde Selection 2023 competition.
As emphasized by the members of the jury, the award is a confirmation that the awarded BZK Alco products meet high quality requirements.
– When consumers see the Monde Selection Quality Award label, they have confirmation and confidence that they are choosing the best product in its class – said Louis Poot Baudier, managing director of Monde Selection.
A professional jury of experts appointed by Monde Selection tested and analyzed BZK Alco spirits in line with a rigorous evaluation process. Products submitted to the competition are evaluated in terms of taste, aroma, texture, appearance and other factors affecting the quality and attractiveness of the product. Experts evaluate balance between sweetness and bitterness, flavor intensity, aftertaste persistence and more.
Ultimately, experts make an overall assessment based on all criteria, with the quality and purity of the vodka being the most important. The Gold Medal (The Gold Quality Award) is awarded to products that have obtained from 80 to 89% of the maximum number of points. The jury consists of independent international experts, such as oenologists (experts supervising production, storage, analysis, bottling and sale), master sommeliers (selecting alcohols) or representatives of the media industry.
Adam Mickiewicz vodka offers a harmonious combination of crystal clear water with seven times distilled spirit. The multi-stage distillation process gives the liquor a guarantee of delicacy and aroma. On the other hand, pure Wataha vodka – inspired by the purity of nature – is characterized by an exceptionally velvety and mild taste.
Established in Brussels, the Monde Selection International Quality Institute is one of the oldest, most reputable and trusted organizations dealing with the certification of consumer products from around the world. Over 3,000 products have been qualified for this year’s edition of the competition, organized since 1961.
