IFS Food Certificate for BZK Alco

In March 2021, BZK Alco received a certificate of compliance of the quality system with the IFS Food Version 6.1 standard. Scope of certification: production (mixing, filtration) and bottling of spirits and alcoholic beverages in glass packaging

IFS (“International Featured Standards”) is an international food safety standard recognized by the GFSI (“Global Food Safety Initiative”). The main purpose of the IFS standard is to confirm that the delivered product is safe and manufactured in accordance with applicable law and complies with customer requirements. The implementation of the IFS standard is associated with having an efficiently functioning HACCP system, as well as documenting the origin of raw materials, as well as defining possible threats and developing methods of their prevention.

The certification was carried out by Bureau Veritas, established in 1828, which is a world leader in the TIC (Testing, Inspection and Certification) industry. The company provides high-quality services aimed at helping clients meet the constantly growing requirements related to – among others – quality, occupational health and safety, environmental protection and social responsibility.
